- When you download our free resource — we collect your name and email address via our opt-in form.
- When you book a clarity call — we collect your name, email address, and any information you provide through Calendly.
- When you purchase a programme or digital product — payment details are handled securely by Stripe or Gumroad. We do not store your payment card information.
- When you contact us directly — we collect whatever information you choose to share with us.
- When you interact with our Meta ads — we may collect your name, email address, and phone number through our Meta lead forms.
- When you use forms or quizzes on our website — we collect whatever you choose to type, such as your answer to a reflection question.
- When you join a live group programme — we record the Zoom sessions so participants can watch the replay. Recordings may include your image, your voice and what you say.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to:
- Deliver the free resource, programme, or product you requested
- Send you follow-up emails relevant to your enquiry or purchase
- Send you our email newsletter and coaching content (if you have opted in)
- Contact you by phone call, text message or WhatsApp about your guide or our coaching, where you have agreed to this or told us you are happy to be contacted this way
- Respond to your questions and provide customer support
- Improve our services and communications
Our legal bases are your consent (for marketing emails, texts and WhatsApp messages), contract (when you buy from us) and legitimate interests (running and improving our business).
We will never sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Marketing and Opting Out
If you download our free resource or opt in via our website, you will be added to our mailing list managed through MailerLite. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly at hello@thefreedomcode.uk.
If we contact you by phone, text message or WhatsApp, you can tell us to stop at any time and we will. To make sure we respect your choice, we keep a minimal record of your email address or phone number marked “do not contact”, so we do not contact you again by mistake.
5. Cookies
Our website uses minimal cookies necessary for the site to function. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies beyond what is standard for embedded tools such as our opt-in form and booking widget.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate our business. Each has its own privacy policy:
- MailerLite — email marketing (mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy)
- Calendly — appointment booking (calendly.com/privacy)
- Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/gb/privacy)
- Gumroad — digital product delivery (gumroad.com/privacy)
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp) — advertising, lead generation and messaging (facebook.com/privacy/policy)
- Netlify — website hosting and website forms (netlify.com/privacy)
- Zoom — live group sessions and recordings (zoom.com/en/trust/privacy)
- Microsoft 365 — business email (privacy.microsoft.com)
Some of these providers store data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law. Our Personal Clarity Session runs in your own account with the AI tool you use, and we only see what you choose to share with us.
7. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your personal information for as long as you are subscribed to our list or have an active relationship with us. If you unsubscribe or request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, apart from the minimal do-not-contact record described in section 4. Session recordings are kept only for as long as needed to give participants access to the replay. We keep payment and accounting records for as long as the law requires.
8. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict how we process your data
- Withdraw consent at any time

We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information. All data is stored and processed by reputable third-party platforms with their own security measures in place.
